Nate and his comb-

I had showed Nate awhile ago that I still had Bailey's baby comb from the hospital. He then took it and started combing his hair. I told him to put it back. Well the next night after work he sits down to watch some t.v. and he pulls out this comb, and just starts combing his hair. This had become a habit for him as he watches t.v. now. Kinda like a binky is comfy for a kid.
Then the dreaded night happened the comb was gone........

Oh God, I thought we we're all gonna die. He tore that whole area a part flippin couches to look under them moving everything around it was a mess. He didn't find the comb. Then accusations of us steeling it from him. We went weeks without it and him whining the comb is gone.
Then the singing of " BABY COME BACK " about the comb.
Oh that was punishment enough, trust me. I just wish I hid a camera to record the singing he did for this comb. He even went as far as drawing the comb the teeth bent and missing exactly and made a lost reward poster, worth a million dollar reward.
Then yesterday I moved the couches again and the ferret cage.
Wow, there it was. The stupid comb, that has caused us so much grief, the accusations, the searching Clark County for a new comb just like this one.... no one has them (the lice comb is even different), listening to him whine and the singing. I got all excited I found my cell dialed his number let it ring then it hit me. "Hi honey , How's work I was just callin' to see how you are doing?" I quickly get off the phone and run to my wrapping paper box. I wrap it up in a necklace box in birthday wrap, made a card, and sat patiently till he got home. It was his unbirthday I told him.

He was so excited he even let me take these pictures of him.
(If you know Nate he hates his picture taken.)
Deegan & Hemi , our ferrets kept moving the comb. Ferrets are hoarders they grab their toys and hid them well Nate must have dropped it and they hid it and the must have been moving it from place to place. However we checked their hiding places as we pick up their toys after every time they are out. Just a funny story I thought I'd share with you.
